The catch is that a lot of solar around here gets sold as a package off a brochure: same panels, same inverter, same size, whatever your roof and your bills look like. We do it the other way around. We start with your switchboard, your usage and your plans, then design a system to match.

It helps that we’re electricians first. The difference between a good solar install and a headache usually isn’t the panels, it’s the wiring, the isolators, the switchboard work and the tidiness of the run. We’re accredited Tesla installers for Powerwall, and we also install Sig Energy, Fox ESS, Sungrow and Hinen systems, including stacked and expansion setups. For many of our customers it’s about energy independence as much as savings: less reliance on the grid, and power that stays on when the street goes dark.

We’re accredited Tesla installers and CEC accredited (S2863691). That’s not wall decoration: accreditation is what keeps your manufacturer warranty valid, your install to standard, and your system eligible for government rebates, which only apply when the work is done by accredited installers. It’s also why we’re comfortable being fussy about the details other installers rush.

Sized on Your Usage, Not a Package Deal

A battery that’s too small won’t cover your evenings. One that’s too big never pays for itself. We look at when your household actually uses power, your tariff, and what’s coming next (an EV? electric hot water?), then size the system for the life you’re actually living. And if a battery genuinely doesn’t stack up for your usage yet, we’ll tell you that too.

Battery Rebates, Handled

Government battery rebates can take thousands off a properly sized system, and the rules shift often enough that quoting numbers here would be doing you a disservice. What we do instead: check exactly what your home qualifies for at quote stage, sort the paperwork as part of the job, and make sure the products and the install meet the eligibility rules, which our accreditation covers.

Is Canberra actually good for solar?
Very. The region gets strong sun most of the year, and solar panels run more efficiently in cooler air, so frosty clear mornings are good generating weather. The 40-panel systems going onto rural sheds around here aren’t a coincidence.
